Text Messaging Program Disclosure
Program: BeepBack missed-call text-back · Operated by Sena Engineering LLC (DBA BeepBack), New Jersey
Last updated: September 2, 2026
How you start receiving messages
The only reason you will ever receive one of these texts is that you called a participating business and the call went unanswered. When that happens, the system sends one automated text message in that business’s name, from a dedicated number registered to that business, so you can get help by text instead of waiting. The word “BeepBack” does not appear in the messages. You are texting with the business you called.
The conversation continues only if you reply. Follow-up messages are sent in response to your replies. If you never reply to the first message, at most one reminder is sent, and that’s the end of it. We never send marketing or promotional messages, we never text numbers from purchased lists, and there is no web form or keyword sign-up. Calling the business is the only way a conversation can start.
By calling a participating business, you consent to receive an automated text-back about your request. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
What the messages look like
The messages below are representative examples. The exact wording varies by business and situation, and depending on how your call went you may see a message a little different from these, but every one stays a short, pre-written template that names the business you called, and the first message you receive always ends with STOP-to-opt-out.
The first message is usually (where [Business Name] is the business you called):
Hi! This is [Business Name] - sorry we missed your call. What do you need help with? Reply STOP to opt out.
If you call while the business is closed, the first message says so and names when it reopens (shown as [reopening time]), but you can still get your request moving right away:
Hi! This is [Business Name] - sorry we missed you. We're closed, back [reopening time]. What do you need? Reply STOP to opt out.
If you reply, the automated assistant asks, in order (skipping anything you’ve already answered):
Got it! How soon do you need help? Reply 1 = emergency/today, 2 = this week, 3 = just a quote.
What's the address or area for the job?
And what name should I put down?
What day and time works best for you?
Once your request is captured, the assistant confirms it and asks one optional catch-all question, where [Your Name] is the name you gave and [First Name] is the first name of the person at the business who will follow up:
Thanks [Your Name]! You're all set - [First Name] will reach out to confirm. Anything else we should know? A photo helps too.
You’re all set at that point whether or not you answer. If you do add something, you get one short acknowledgment:
Got it, thanks! [First Name] has the details and will be in touch.
If you never reply to the first message, at most one reminder is sent:
Just checking in from [Business Name] - still here to help if you need it. What can we do for you?
All messages are pre-written templates. A business may adjust its templates’ wording; changes to the first message get our review. Every version stays a short, pre-written message sent under the rules on this page, and the identification and “Reply STOP to opt out” language never changes.
Message frequency and rates
Message frequency varies depending on your conversation, typically 4–7 messages total. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out
Reply STOP at any time to permanently stop all messages from that business’s number. You’ll receive one final confirmation:
You are unsubscribed and will receive no more messages.
We also honor STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, and OPTOUT. Reply START to opt back in. Keyword opt-outs take effect the moment they arrive. You don’t have to use an exact keyword, either: a reply that clearly asks us to stop is honored automatically too, and nothing further is sent.
Help
Reply HELP at any time, and you’ll receive:
[Business Name]: For help, call [Business Number]. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
For help with your request itself, just reply in the conversation and the business picks it up from there. You can also email hello@getbeepback.com.
Your information
Your phone number, messages, and opt-in/opt-out records are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We never share your mobile number, opt-in data, or consent information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Full program terms are in our Terms of Service.
